Hair essential oil naturoce

I spent time and did some research to create this list; however, it is not an exhaustive list.

How to choose the right essential oil?

Start by trying the one you already have. If they are not listed here, check their properties because they might be useful for your hair.

You will notice some oils have various properties and are quite complete to treat our hair. I advice you to consider using them as a full treatment for your hair and scalp.

Depends on your budget.

If you suffer from a particular affection like psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, allergies or you have a very sensitive skin please do your research on the oils properties for your condition and maybe ask a specialist. You will find suitable ones in the list for irritated scalp.

How to use them?

– You can add a drop in your dose of shampoo or add 1 to 1.5% in your shampoo bottle which is more or less 35 drops=1ml of essential oils for a 100ml shampoo bottle. Also, less than 1% will be effective as well. It depends on your needs and sensitivity.

You also have the possibility to make your own mix of essential oils to add in your shampoo. Be aware, citruses essential oils liquefy your shampoo.

– For greasy hair, add 2 or 3 drops with clay and water to make a mask for your hair.

– You can also use them as a special treatment and let them stay a few hours or even all night. Mix the essential oils with some carrier oil or shea butter and apply.

And don’t forget, a really good treatment for your hair is vinegar, here is my article about it.

A list of shampoo ingredients to avoid.

I hope this list will help you.

Experience your own care.
